SEASON 11 EPISODE 1: LONELINESS

It’s time to wrap up the Carry On trilogy! For season 11, we read the final book in the series, Any Way The Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell. You can check out season 6 for Carry On and season 9 for Wayward Son. Our theme for chapters 1-10 is loneliness, and we’re also picking up the ongoing theme of expectations.

In this section, we meet Lady Ruth - Lucy’s mother! She is looking now for her son, Jamie, who has also gone missing. Simon gets an unexpected inheritance. Penny takes Shepard home for a consultation but it goes poorly. Baz bails his ungrateful aunt out of jail, and then gets stuck in Oxford for a week helping out his father. The question is, where’s Daphne?? Meanwhile, Simon is ghosting Baz as he prepares to leave the World of Mages behind, forever.
